DISCLAMOR - I don't know which way is fastest for you depending on traffic. I use the memorial bridge from Va - it seems to be much better than the 395 route. From Virginia Take I-395 North over the 14th St. bridge. Once on the bridge, get in the right lane. Take the first exit on the other side of the bridge, the sign will read "East Potomac Park - Park Police". Take a left on Buckeye Drive, followed by a right on Ohio Drive. Pull in to the parking lot near the 1/2 burried man statue.
From DC From the district, take 15th St. south through the Mall and past the US Treasury building. 15th will bear left and merge with Maine Ave, take an immediate right following signs for I-395 South. Get in the left lane and take a left following signs for "Hains Point Golf and Tennis". This will put you on Ohio Drive, take Ohio until you get to the 1/2 burried man statue. |
